Jessica Pearson MD, OBGYN

Dr. Jessica Pearson was born and raised in South Dakota, and attended SDSU for her undergraduate degree and USD Sanford School of Medicine for her doctorate degree. Following medical school, she moved to Macon, GA where she completed her OB/GYN residency training through Mercer University/Navicent Health. She was a recipient of a Health Professional Scholarship through the United States Air Force and went on to complete an active duty service commitment after residency.

During her time in the Air Force, she served as the medical director for the Women’s Health department and later became Associate Program Director for the OB/GYN residency program at Brooke Army Medical Center.

In her free time after residency, she began exploring ways to improve her own health and specifically found an interest in functional fitness and nutrition, which later developed into a focus in functional medicine as a way to further assist her patients in their health journeys. After leaving the Air Force, she completed training through the Institute of Functional Medicine and now focuses her practice on treating women’s health conditions with a more natural approach.

She is also incredibly passionate about educating women on establishing and maintaining healthy, strong pregnancies. She has her perinatal fitness certification through AFPA and plans to eventually incorporate individualized strength/weight training sessions with women at any stage of their fertility journey.

Her hobbies outside of work include almost any fitness activity, but in particular CrossFit, triathlons, and any outdoor recreation. She also enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Zora.

Sarah Tadlock

Dr. Sarah was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up playing all the sports. Her main focus was soccer and gymnastics. She went to Dakota Wesleyan University to receive her Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training. From there she went to work at Dakota State University for 2 years as their Athletic Trainer. She then found chiropractic and made the decision to go back to school at Northwestern Health Science University in Bloomington, MN. She worked at The Center of Movement for three years and then decided it was time to move home. Her focus and passion is mommas and babies. Fun fact: she is also a doula! On her free time, she coaches gymnastics at Power & Grace and CrossFit at CrossFit Kota.
